Yellow thinklight?

Hello
Just yesterday the LCD cable was replaced by a service center (non IBM/Lenovo) and to my surprise the thinklight gives yellow light!!
Has anybody seen this happen? Wonder if something (a yellow layer?) is to be peeled off to get the preferable white light.
I do not have the part number that has been fitted (even he does not know).
Please comment

Several models Thinkpad come standard with yellow/amber Thinklights, nothing special.
Maybe a bit irritating if you were used to white, but you can see just as well with yellow.

I believe the R-series Thinkpads use amber (yellow) thinklights.

My X41 too... (I think my X41T as well, but cannot remember). I find it neat
