T410 can't update drivers etc

When I launch Lenovo ThinkVantage Tools and click 'Updates and drivers', the 'System Update 4' splash appears, and then... nothing happens. The splash just sits there and no options are presented. If I click on the splash, it goes away.

Any ideas? Is there another way to handle updates? I have the feeling I'm missing something very obvious...

The machine in question is a T410 2522-PE8 running Win7 Home Premium (the beloved T30 in my sig, which I'd rather be using, is currently waiting for me to find a replacement fan)

Perhaps you should try uninstalling system update and then reinstall it.

And that would be the 'something very obvious' I was missing. I had tried re-installing before without success, but tried again, and this time it worked. Thanks.
