System Recovery - Selecting Programs to Install

I have had my x220 for just over a month now and decided to do a full factory restore to see what my installation options were. I remember that with my older machines (T60, T61...) i could select which applications i wanted to install or leave out. With my x220 i was not given this option.

Is there a way to achieve this with the x220?
