Fn Function key

#1 Post by shepshedlad » Thu Apr 07, 2005 10:50 am

Hi,
This (I hope) is a real basic question but have spent ages on it and cannot find the answer

The Fn function key is always on, I mean I need to hold down the Fn key to type for example U,I,O,P etc etc otherwise I just get the numbers 4,5,6,x etc.

I simply do not know how to turn it off and its soo bl*&*y annoying!

Any help greatly recieved

regards
Rob

Rob,

It's not the Fn key that's on, it's the Number Lock!

Shift+NumLk will turn it off.
