My thinkpad 390E HELP!!!

I need a copy of the hard drive of an orignal thinkpad 390e to restore it to factoey can this be done? Or is there a cd someone can hook me up with?

I have searched Hi and Low of some help and I found this place. I love older computers.

Good luck! I have been looking for something like this for years for my 390X.

The computers back then did not have restore partitions, and the cds they included with the computers were regular Windows 98 OEM install discs.

IBM did produce SOME recovery CD's "way back then"..
for instance i have one for the 755CD/701C (someplace) but i probably don't have a CD for the 701C which required an IBM PCMCIA based CD drive..
so even if you found a CD for your 390E you would still need an "approved" CD drive..
