Looks like the multibay gap is better than T42, even this is a 14' model.

Better as in smaller? Doesn't seem so, if you watch it closer, the right side is a bit higher which makes it seem like the gap is smaller :)
Compared to mine, it's of equal size.
Written behind a T42, 2373-9UG.
