LCD and invertor compatibility question

#1 Post by dr-evil » Wed Nov 02, 2011 3:00 am

i have T41 with cracked LCD.
(T41 2372-6G2)
LCD: p/n 92p6674 fru: 92p6675
Inverter: fru p/n 26p8464

On out local forums someone offered to by his LCD with p/n HT14X14 - 101

I've googled about it, found only prices and nothing about interchangeable.

Could anyone tell something about it ?

That LCD will not fit, it has a 20-pin connector and your T4x needs a 30-pin connector on 14.1" XGA 1024 x 768.
Samsung LTN141XA-L01 P/N: 11P8351 FRU: 11P8352
or Toshiba LTD141EC7B P/N: 13N7024
Your inverter will fit on both.

Great thanks for your answer.

Is there any variants to install an SXGA+ LCD ?

Yes.

A different cable and inverter are also called for

You're better off grabbing an entire lid with SXGA+ screen and installing it on your base.
