wifi t42 not working

Hi,

My Thinkpad T42 2373 does not accept wifi signal from many routers. Operating system XP with SP2. I tried downloading a microsoft updates for wpa and wpa2 signals ( KB893357 and KB917021) - but that did not work. My WLAN driver is Intel PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI. Maybe I need to update the driver so that it can receive g signal?

Welcome to the forum!

Your T42 actually needs a newer wireless card that would be capable of working in both b and g range, updating the software will not overcome the hardware limitation.
