There are Pentium 4 "Mobile" processors and there may be Pentium 3 as well (I don't know), but these are not the new PM (Pentium Mobile) processors. That is a P4M is not a PM. The new processors run faster and cooler than P3 or P4 processors that were adapted to Laptops. ... JD Hurst

I think the first A22m came with the PIII-850, which is not a mobile PIII. The latter, however, came with P3M-866 and P3M-1000 which are proper "mobile" Pentium-III. I am not sure however, dont count on it.

It is a mobile P3, just not a p3m...
Mobile p3 MBGA form factor Coppermine Core 100 bus
P3m, Tuatlon (i don't know how to spell it) core 133 bus

the a22m can take (as long as it came with a p3) a 1ghz 100mhz bus chip
x20 600mhz 128mb 20gb xp pro sp2 dock FOR SALE
a20m 900mhz 512mb 40gb 5400rpm xp pro sp2 lg cdrw/dvd
T42 1.7ghz 1.5gb 60gb 7k 15"sxga+ R9600 2379-DXU xp pro sp2

There are P3 mobile and P3-M (not the same)

P3 Mobile have just 100MHz fsb, 256kb L2 cache and went up to 1GHz

P3-M have 133MHz fsb, 512kb L2 cache adn went up to 1.33 GHz. The 1.33 GHz is very hard to find...

I'self have the P3-M 1.13 GHz in my laptop and are very satisfied with this.
