T60 WIDESCREEN

#1 Post by dwilsonfl » Tue Nov 08, 2011 12:46 pm

Just picked up one on eBay - not perfect, but since my trusty T60 15" died last week, it will do. After I bought it, I wondered what parts if any will transfer. Anyone have a short list top of mind? KYB? Battery?

Thanks,

David

Keyboard, 6 cell and 9 cell batteries, all Ultrabay devices, processors, RAM, hard drives w/caddy and rails, modem, wireless adapters, WWAN adapters, Bluetooth adapter, docks are the same, all AC adapters, CMOS battery, probably the PC card cage - this is what comes to mind!

The T60 widescreen models were nice, solid machines.

Thanks a lot.

I'm thinking as far as case/base parts I'd be looking at the T61 15.4 as well, correct?

I just ordered a HD cover since the 15" T60 does not work.

The base has a broken corner and there is a crack in the touch pad surround. Not perfect, but I put the HD from the dead T60 in it and it fired right up.:)

$69 is what I paid for it. Takes some of the sting out.
