Recycle T40 screen

Hi,

I have an old T40 whose motherboard is broken. I do not want to replace it, I have another laptop and I don't need another.
But, I would like to use some components from this T40, to use them in another computer.
I am especially interested in the screen, and, if it is possible, I would like to be able to plug it on another computer.

So I ask you if someone knows if it is possible to get (or to make, I am not afraid of that) some connection stuff from the native interface to something like vga or another standard.

I hope I do not look like a odd newbie… If I do, it is maybe because English is not my native language…

It could easily be used on another T4x series machine, and possible some other laptop computers. But for general VGA use see this:

We will be looking forward to learning how the project goes... I think several have wondered if it could be done, but, for me anyway, it's too ambitious a project.
