t30 power adapter compatibility question

Hello!

I have a t30 on its way to me from Ebayland, without a power adapter. At first I thought I would use the power adapter from my wife's Lenovo g560 for testing, but from what I've read the t30 power adapter is 16.something volts and the one from the g560 is 19.something volts. I -think- they use the same plug. Is the power difference going to be an issue?

i wouldn't use the G560 power adapter if i am you. The T30 uses the same adapter as the T4x, R40, R5x, X3x machines (and several other ThinkPads from that era).

Well that sounds like a bad idea. I guess I need to order a power brick. Thanks!
