X60s beeps, but will not start

Hello,
I have a recent problem with a wife's X60s.
It does not turn on at all. After pressing power button it gives out a couple of quick beeps (one per second, about five of them), but nothing on LCD, no activity from the fan/hdd.
I have absolutely no idea what should I do. Everything worked fine till today morning.

Remove AC adapter, battery and then hold down the power button for 2 seconds. repeat 10 times, but at the last push, hold it down for 30 seconds.
Then reconnect AC and try to start.
If that works, add the battery and try again.

try to take out the ram module and start the laptop without them, does it beep? also insert one ram module at a time and try to start the laptop that way.

Removed the ram and reseated it again, and it is working till now. TY!
