  • Resolution is 1600x1200
  • Max RAM is 8gb
  • GPU is not ATI rv5xx (e.g. x1400, FireGL v5200, etc...)

Yes, but you'll have to make it yourself. You can make a T60/T61 hybrid that meets those requirements.

I don't think that there are any T61s that shipped in a suitable configuration, but I could be wrong.

I don't mind making it myself. I'm assuming the parts I need are, roughly speaking a T60p and a T61 motherboard.

Yes, that is a good point of departure. I also made two T61+ matching your criteria this way.
Here are the main information sources i mainly used for my endeavour:

#### http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.ph ... 50#p536550 says:
"The PC card connector on the T61 motherboard is female where the T60
motherboard it's male. Need the PC card cage from the T61."

Good luck!

I was wondering is there anyway to keep the modem operational with the T60 Frankenpad mod?

Thanks,

AFAIK, no. But there's a boatload of PCMCIA modem cards sitting all over the globe, if you *really* need one...

I always opted for two complete machines in order to interchange their respective mainboards, and which in the end resulted in two fully working usable Frankenpads. The T60 machine in a T61 chassis makes a great gift for some younger family member. ;)
