Can the M.B. of T43 be used for R51?

Hello

Can the motherboard of T43 (FRU: 39T0476) http://www.oldlaptopparts.com/ibm-think ... 76-tested/
be used as the motherboard of R51 (FRU: 27R1852) http://notebookrepair.co.uk/product_inf ... 221ec7b503

Except for the RAM Speed and the graphics card, both cards look identical.

The reason I want to use the T43's M.B. instead of R51's is because in my country I cannot find any R51 M.B.

You'd need a different CPU, fan/heatsink, RAM...not worth it, IMO.

The Board Room stocks several R51 motherboards, that have all been professionally refurbished and come with a 90-day written warranty.

For a R51 you can fit a T40, T41 or T42 mobo - but all of them have ATI graphics (with known problems). Not worth it ...
