I bought my X41 today.

1.5, 60GB, Bluetooth, a-b-g, 8 cell, and fingerprint scanner.
(3 year easy serve)

Price $ 1583.34 + free shipping + tax *thanks to my great rep

20+ days out. *way too long.

You have to be a student or faculty at my university. Ohio State. Bill might be able to come close. He gets great deals as well. Send him an email and see what he can do.

This is my 4th thinkpad that I have purchased from OSU/IBM in less than two years. I just sold my X40 for 1400.00 and I still have my 2373KXU T42P for the house. I cant wait to get the new X41.

Why would that matter? You can't get an educational discount if you're not currently attending or working at a University. Everyone's graduated from somewhere...

Mine is showing a ship date of 5-17-05 but my last couple of thinkpads showed a later ship date than when I received them. We can only hope they come sooner than that.
