Hi,
I just purchased this on Ebay. Can't wait to get it!
I good deal I guess? What is the average selling prices of these?
I don't know anything about Linux, any suggestions?
Thanks

If you get that thing in working condition with no problems, then you got a steal. You paid only ten dollars more for that than I paid for my 380ED back in November, but that 380's a clunker. A 600E is something you can still do a good bit of stuff with.

1: Re Linux: I have yet to learn enough about Linux to fill a note card so I'm not the person to ask, but if you have any kind of name in AOL name space, including an AOL user id, AOL-IM, Compuserve id or Compuserve IM or Netscape ID or Netscape IM (And I think ICQ now qualifies as well)

Then http://community.compuserve.com/linux (or for netscape users change "Compuserve" to "Netscape" all lower case)

Log in with your aol/im/compuserve/im/netscape/im name and pw

As for the 600E.... What I'm typing on I'm running win-98SE and have just one "Warning"

On the IBM services disk for the 600E is a program called APM2APM.REG

Invoke it, Once Trust me, you either will

1: Not notice what it does for you or 2: Like it
