How to See Thinkpads in Metro Detroit

I am considering T520, T420, X1 or X220 to replace my T60. I have a pretty good feel for the T520 & T420 as they are similar to my T60 and I have seen a T420 at Microcenter in Metro Detroit.

I have no idea about the X1 or X220. Any ideas how I might be able to get a look at either of them? If any one has one of these in Metro Detroit I would be willing to buy rou a beer or coffee to get a look at your X1 or X220.

Do you have any Microsoft retail stores out there yet? The one near me has an X1 on display, and used to have a T410 and X2xx as well.

Wow, great idea, the closest store is in Chicago (4 to 5 hrs by car). I checked their site and the only ThinkPad they show is the T410.

If you're willing to go as far as Chicago, I know that CDW has retail store. I went there a few years back, they had an entire row of ThinkPads on display. Only the Vernon Hills location has a retail store. I would call before going.
