x201 RAM upgrade from 4GB to 8GB?

Am seeing physical memory usage of about 70% with 4GB. Is upgrading to 8GB going to make the machine any snappier?

Are you using windows xp or 7 64bit ?

Anyway to verify if that module is safe for the X201? Does Corsair say?
