Hello

I bought some T43, real bargain. I was reading that T43 takes only IDE hard drives...
So my question is if I buy that adapter can I install Sata hard drives?

Thanks for answers...

Not going to work...

You can:

A) install a SATA drive in an Ultrabay HD adapter

B) convert the machine to SATA - do a forum search on how it's done - not for the faint-hearted.

Good luck.

For more detailed information, and other options, you may want to see the thread Upgrade Thinkpad to a SATA interface? and in particular the links pointed to therein.
