known imperfections:

- a small piece of plastic broken off by the VGA port, not bad (no damage to the frame) but it's there
- a couple of light grayish spots in the upper RH corner of the otherwise well-kept FlexView LCD, visible on white/very light backgrounds only
- normal wear for a ThinkPad of this era.


This was my wife's desktop replacement for well over a year, until I upgraded her to a SATA-modded T43p this past summer. She likes her machines quiet and cool, and this one fits the bill as much as any ATi-based T43 ever will. Idles happily in the mid-40s (C) until pushed hard.

Not the prettiest, or the most powerful T43 around, but as a daily workhorse it leaves nothing to be desired. This one won't let you down.

What an amazing deal. I still remember paying $1450 for a T40p with bluetooth, SXGA+ and a DVDRW in 2004.

I should just have waited these 7 years and picked this up.
