Docking Station incompatibility

I just got a T43P and I found that it doesn't fit my docking station. The station is the large kind (with an ultrabay port on the side) and I use it with my T30. The connectors appear to be the same, but when I try to attach it - it won't fit. Anyone know anything about this? I had read up a bit on the forums and eBay listings to learn that the station compatibilities seem to include both the T30 series and T40, and that was one of the reasons I bought it, but no go with ths new PC. Bummed out a bit. The T43 model# is 2687-DSU and the docking station model# is 2631. Thanks for any help!
