X60/X61 SXGA+ - worth looking for one with it?

I currently use a T60 with SXGA+ resolution and find that I can't deal with XGA on a 14" +
But, I don't necessarily want a tablet, either
Will the ppi be simiar for a 12" XGA?

12" SXGA+ is only available as an option on the X61Tablet.
On other X61 models you have to modify the BIOS, find an SXGA+ LCD, get a special LCD cable and prepare for quite a number of hours for the conversion.
Look around on eBay, X61T/SXGA+ can be had for ca. $200.- or less if you are patient.
