Speed of processor X ... is being limited by system firmware

Has anyone received this message in their system log?

The speed of processor 3 in group 0 is being limited by system firmware. The processor has been in this reduced performance state for 71 seconds since the last report.


I have four of these errors, with processor 0,1,2,3 in group 0.
I am updating the firmware, but I just wanted to share above, just something I noticed today.
Maybe it is a regular features, maybe a part of power saving profile, or something else, but there aren't too many of these errors.
