Greetings.
I recently bought a used IBM Lenovo T60 (ThinkPad T60 (1951-WAT) to be precise), and it is the best experience I've had in all the laptops I've owned earlier. I have installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32 Bit and everything seems to work perfectly fine, except the Bluetooth. There is a bluetooth light in the notification lights under the LCD among other lights, the bluetooth is enabled in the Bios as well. I've tried two drivers from the official website (http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/default.page? - please search for ThinkPad T60 (1951) in the search box) but neither the light turned up, nor the Windows was able to find any Bluetooth. I would like to know which exact driver do I need to install to make this work. Bluetooth is pretty important to me.
Help would be greatly appreciated.
Bluetooth Problem
Re: Bluetooth Problem
The download page might possibly show up here (I miss MIGR pages):
http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/default.page?
In any event, put that model into the Lenovo Support site and you will land where I did. Version is 6.2.1.3100 and it is the same for Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit.
Download the driver, uninstall the current driver, restart, install the new driver here. Make sure BlueTooth is turned on (Function F5 on the keyboard). Then go to Devices and Printers, click on Add Device, and add the device you want. It should work - It does on my T61p with Windows 7 64-bit. .... JDH

Re: Bluetooth Problem
Thankyou very much jdhurst. I'm very impressed by the speed of your reply. Thankyou very much. I found out that I hadn't turned the bluetooth on. I did so by pressing Fn + F5 and it's working now. I'm using the the Windows driver, whatever it installed on it's own. Do you think I should install any of the driver listed on the Lenovo support page. Would that increase data transfer speed or help in any other way. Please tell me the benefits of that and should I change or just use it like that.
Again, thankyou very much. You are very kind.

Re: Bluetooth Problem
You are most welcome and I was pleased to assist. I did the same thing myself (forgot to turn it on). With respect to drivers, I just keep all the drivers from Lenovo current. The only Bluetooth device I use is the Microsoft Bluetooth mouse, and I do not think it is much impacted by Bluetooth speed, so I cannot answer the second question very well.
