Ron,
That would be great. I'm trying to upgrade an IBM Thinkpad R40 and figured this would be a start. Would also like to upgrade the hard drive to a bigger unit. It has a 40GB in it now, but, as they say, bigger is almost always better. I know it must seem kind of nuts to mess with an older model, but I just bought it and like it. Besides, it is built like a tank and should be around for awhile.

If you plunder around, you will see I have been know to fix up and donate a few R40's, I probably have enough plastics to build 4 or 5 now. No Mobos, but screens, bezels, keyboards and just about everything else.
Anyway, checked the stash and while I have tons of 256, a couple of 512, I dont have any larger. Let me know if you are searching for anything else.

99% of what I have purchased has come from here:

Ignore the first one, wrong speed.

Sorry
