Many computers/soundcards have a setting under the recording section titled "What you hear". It allows you to record the sound that's playing, with out using a microphone.
Can this feature be added to my X31?
I think the sound card is the SoundMax Intigrated Digital Audio, & the driver is from Analog Devices ver. 5.12.1.3620 (which is really old! from 2003!!)
Any thoughts welcome..
Thanks.
EDIT:
After some further digging I realized that the "Wave Our Mix" in the recording control seems to be the same as "What You Hear" on my other computer.
It allows me to play a song, using whatever player, and have the volume off, or low, and the full sound is still sent to Tunatic, a program I'm using to identify songs & don't know the name of.
Does X31 support "What You Hear" on soundcard? SOLVED
