Hi guys, got a Thinkpad T510 some time ago (used, from a friend of mine), and so far it´s been a perfect notebook except for the weird "clicking" sounds which screen (the right hinge connector) makes when moving the screen in any direction (towards or opposite to the direction of keyboard). Otherwise, the screen is rock-stable but I would like to know if there´s a way to stop the clicking (can be an annoyance sometimes) without voiding my guarantee... So, the problem is pretty similar to this one here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ydqx5EB6vc
Should I open the notebook, look for some screws to tighten or release the hinges? I haven´t found any videos on that so far...
I also own a T500 model, and it never makes the "clicking" sounds....
