R61i HD upgrade to Samsung SSD 830 series - any caveats ?

Greetings everyone,

Planning to upgrade my current ThinkPad R61i HD to Samsung 128G SSD 830 series

Current config: R61i Type 7650-8BG - Win XP SP 3.0

1 - Is the Samsung SSD compatible with my current config ?
2 - Any BIOS consideration to be aware of ?
2 - Any caveat about migrating current HD image to SSD with Norton Ghost ? (supplied with SSD)
0 - Anyone having performed this specific upgrade care to comment?
