iseries 1200 Astounding news!!!

Did receive my thinkpad and tried to use it with the Win 98 installed. Always did dislike this os. Finally got disgusted and did a new install of Win XP. Runs like a charm...did slow down a bit when I had to install Norton's to go online to update the bios. (giggle)

You have to remember, I haven't updated the memory yet it is still running on 96meg and the 'puter itself only runs at 500 mhz.

Just had to share this with all of you. Thanks for all the help. I'm happy as a clam with the laptop now.
