T61 Wireless radio

My wireless radio keeps shutting down. If I hit F5 it say's radio switch is on,radio is off,clicking "turn on" has no effect. Rebooting it will restart it for a few minutes then the icon disappears and connection is lost. Any ideas? TIA

Well it had to be an update from Lenovo. I restored my computer 3 days back from the update and all is well!!

Sounds like an issue with power manager, perhaps it was shutting off power for the device to conserve power.

Glad you got it fixed though, and let us know if you figure out what caused it.

Tusus Thank You but I tried that first also change it to wireess (it was ad hoc) but that did not help so I restored back 3 days and it has been fine.Last time it was a power issue!
