From the standpoint of sheer physical beauty, this is likely the prettiest 14" T60p I've seen in a long time. Minimal - and you can read that as "barely any" - physical wear. Looks better than an one-owner W500 that has just landed in my house. Seriously. Very, very clean unit - I try to use the term "mint" sparingly, but this classic ThinkPad is not far from what my understanding of that word would be.

Functionally, the unit is as powerful as any T60p will ever be, short of WWAN. Sure, one could install more RAM, bigger hard drive etc, but the base combination of CPU and GPU can't be beat. Surprisingly (or maybe not) the machine is *very* quiet when idling, and the fan comes on only when pushed hard.

The only imperfection that I can find is a pixel-size spec present in the middle of the otherwise very clean and bright screen. Lighter backgrounds bring it up more than the dark ones, and while I don't find this distracting it's an imperfection that deserves to be mentioned - as small as it may be - on a pretty-darn-close-to-downright-perfect ThinkPad like this one.

All in all, if you're looking for a top-shelf-classic-4:3 T6x machine, this one should deserve a serious thought. They don't come much nicer that the example in question. No disappointments here.
