x201 turbo memory ?

I got a free turbo memory from a friend selling his x200, except my x201 does not have the slot above the keyboard connector as seen here http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/product ... MIGR-71439

There is a wan slot on the x201 next to the wifi slot, is that slot like universal for these kind of things or does it not work at all ? I just want to give it a shot
