Edge 13 (0221-22G) which wireless LAN upgrade options?

Hello,

I own above mentioned Edge model.
It is equiped with a:

1x1 11b/g/n Wireless LAN PCI Express Half Mini Card Adapter

Max. connection speed I get at home with this adapter is 72Mb/s.
My MacBook Pro connects at home without problems with at least 144Mb/s.

So I'm looking for an upgrade of the wireless LAN adapter in my Edge.

Can I buy any LAN adapter or will only certain (Lenovo) models work?
Any recommendations which wireless LAN adapters are good?
