X300 and Kingston SVP180S2

#1 Post by zoldar » Thu Feb 23, 2012 8:07 am

Is there a risk that this disk won't fit into x300's HD bay?

http://www.kingston.com/us/support/tech ... l=SVP180S2

From what I saw, the original ones like 43N3406, have a bit different shape of the top of the case.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Looking for something (T43? T60?) of the same size (14.1") with higher screen resolution (SXGA+)

Welcome to the forum!

The linked drive will work in the X300 as it is a microSATA interface and a 1.8" form factor.

Thanks!

I was a bit wary because I've already burnt myself buying a 2.5" ssd without checking what fits actually.

P.S. I've just noticed that my sig is "a bit" out of date ;)
