Will Windows power Management of Second HDD impact SDD?
Will Windows power Management of Second HDD impact SDD?
I have an X220 with an OCZ nocti as my primary boot drive, and I left the factory 320 gig 7200 RPM drive in there for storage. i've created a power plan that will turn off hard disks after 5 minutes of inactivity. The hard drive is indeed spinning down, but I'm wondering if this setting is hampering the performance of my SSD at all? If not, then are there any disadvantages I'm not considering to this approach?
