Key does not respond on keyboard

The 5 key does not respond on my keyboard, has anyone ever disassembled the kb and repaired this condtion?

Check out the documents link in my sig and you'll find how to fit a new key.

To remove an existing key use a very thin impliment to flick off the key top which will get you to the mechanism underneath.

Alternatively instead of typing "5", type "4+1" and don't use "%"!

PoshG, that's not the problem, the key is intact but no response on the screen when I type.

In all likelihood, a replacement keyboard will be required.
