TPFancontrol on Windows 8 with a ThinkPad W500-yes it works!

Just thought I would pass along some fun news. (well...fun for me, anyway!) I've installed Windows 8 Beta using a SSD, and ThinkPad Fan control runs just dandy on that OS. No hitches or glitches that I have detected!
I even managed to track down a driver (7vd541ww.exe) for the display port on the W500. It's a Vista vintage driver, but heck..it works! Other Windows 7 utilities and drivers work fine on Windows 8 as well. Despite the odd looking "Metro" start menu, it hasn't taken me long at all to get fairly comfy with W8. Footprint is small; 30 gig with all my MS Office apps and other programs installed. I keep my docs. on drive D which allows for a smaller C: partition. Windows 8 is quick like a bunny!
