And the bad thing is that the Ebay battery dealers do not seem to mention the type of cells being used in their replacement batteries...

OK so I tested two of the SONY's. One of them said 53Wh left, the other 56Wh. Both produced and used 2006/2007. The 53Wh one jumped from 80% to 5%. Basically 10 real Wh left at best. The 56Wh one however really did last for 56Wh, so it actually does have 100% left. Both have a few dozen cycles on them.
