running windows server 2008 on t41, thinkpad system update

hello everyone, so i'm running windows server 2008 on my t41 and i cannot get the thinkpad system update software to work (tvsu) .... i have even tried to run as compatibility for xp and still didn't help ... thanks

Welcome to the forum.... Which version of system update are you trying to use? The correct one for Windows7/2008 server is 4.01.

Whoa! Kind of loud there...

So, did you come here seeking help, or just to let us know that System Update is not working for you?
There are others (not me) who do have System Update working on Windows 2008 server, although I doubt it's on a T41.

yeah... sorry about that.. i needed help trying to get the thinkpad sys. update to work on server 2008.... at this point i still haven't found a way.... neil buddy you been pretty helpful tho.. i'm gonna try the link you gave me and get back with you
