SOLD via eBay: Perfect Intel Core i3-330M 2.13GHz SLBMD processor pulled from ThinkPad T410. Also included is an Intel Core i3 Inside palmrest decal which was carefully removed from the T410. See picture.

Just curious, how much difference did it make switching from an i3 to i5?

Well, I mostly did the upgrade for sport! This was my first Core CPU upgrade. I suppose it's faster, certainly not any slower, but realistically, since I have an SSD in it, the speed bump isn't obvious for anything that I do with that machine.

As with pretty much any laptop, an SSD upgrade (from mechanical) will improve performance more than any CPU upgrade.
