text is not clear on my 600e-A5U.

#1 Post by Robert » Fri Apr 15, 2005 9:43 am

the text is not at all clear. The contrast is not even on many of the letters

on every word. It is a strain to read. Anybody have this problem? I have

tried different font sizes, resolution. Sometimes I feel that it must be the

screen ! Pictures display very well though.

Thanks and Cheers,

Robert

sounds like a problem with your font settings, either that or you have your screen resolution lower than the LCD's native resolution

OK,

HI resolution solved the problem, but the fonts are pretty small.

Thanks much.

you can change the size of your fonts by, I believe right clicking on your desktop and selecting properties. If not mistaken, making Icons larger also increases the font sizes on most things.

You could try the LCD 'tuner' at http://www.microsoft.com/typography/cle ... uner/1.htm

The cleartype fonts make a difference.
