Is the R40 lcd screen compatible with a T60 laptop

I have a type 1953 laptop and was wondering if the lcd from my old r40 would work with it. It's a LP14x10 fru# is 11p8283.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Answer is no. The R40 panel is probably too think to fit in the T60 lid, and the R40 screen certainly lacks an EDID chip that the T60 needs to function.
