Edge E320 Graphics Card Upgrade?

#1 Post by isaac_ho » Mon Mar 19, 2012 1:16 am

Dear Gurus,

I bought an i3 ThinkPad Edge E320 (Intel HD Graphics 3000) few weeks ago, is it possible to upgrade it to ATI Radeon 6330M, e.g. buy a 6330M graphics card separately?

Thanks.

Best regards
Isaac

You can't upgrade the GPU as the GPU is soldered to the motherboard on the E320. If you want a smaller notebook with a good GPU, a notebook with an ExpressCard will allow you to do a ePGU.

Thanks for your reply.

I thought the ATI graphics card is in mini PCIe format.
