Hi,
I've just installed a 60gb mSATA ocz nocti card (noc-msata-60g), and the device isn't appearing anywhere in the system, including in the bios.
I've done a bios update this morning from the latest that Lenovo has to offer, with no effect.
If anyone has had the same issue with this card, or the T510, with msata cards?
Thanks,
Chris -.

Re: Not finding ocz mSATA on t510
The T510 (and the T410 and the X201) don't support mSATA hard drives. You need to be using a T520, T420, X220, etc for the mSATA drive to work correctly. It's not something a BIOS update can fix as it's a hardware issue. What you have in your T510 is a m-PCI-e slot - while the mSATA SSD will physically fit in, it won't work. Sorry.

Re: Not finding ocz mSATA on t510
Hi Wolfman,
Thanks for the confirmation, it's something that I found on some more reading but it was obscure enough not to be credible.
Now I have a 60gb msata card with nothing to go on it. I'm hoping that connecting it to mPCIe hasn't damaged the chip - having the same socket and different power pins / voltage would be a terrible idea.
Cheers,
Chris -.

There is a mSATA to 2.5" SATA adapter that may allow you to use your OCZ Nocti mSATA SSD in your T510 via the HDD slot or HDD ultrabay adapter.chris_williams wrote:Now I have a 60gb msata card with nothing to go on it.
