Problem with R60

#1 Post by pianisthuy » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:42 am

I have a Lenovo-IBM Thinkpad R60 9461-HRG. I have only a new RAM for it, about 2GB

I had got a Blue Screen - Parity check/ MOemory Parity error with my computer now

It said:

*** Hardware Malfunction
Call your hardware vendor for support
NMI: Parity Check/Memory Parity Error
*** The system has halted ***

I installed windows 7, if I didn't install thi driver for my Video card ATi X1400, I haven't got this problem. As soon as I installed the driver for it, I got this problem(autoupdate from Microsoft or special driver for X1400, I have the samve problem)

What should I do now?

and how can i resolve this problem?

Thank you for your help!

Read this post (about the T60, which is virtually identical to the R60): http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=101373

it's the difference, because I have the ATi X1400, not Intel GPU

Try the Vista drivers for X1400.
