PartitionMagic 8.0 instal problems

I am trying to install PartitionMagic 8.0 on my T42P so I can dual boot Fedora Core 3. When I try to install PM 8.0 I get the fallowing message:

"The wizard was interrupted before PartitionMagic could be completly installed."

Any thoughts or ideas. The symantech web site does not shine a ton of light on this error.

Where does it stop, do you have some sort of an antiviral program?
Tweaked around with your services?

I ended up performing a sysmtem restore and the program loaded right away.
