I will be ordering one that has the IPS type display but I already have a standard size SSD. I would like to use the SSD in the X220 instead of paying extra for a SSD with the new X220. Does anyone know if it takes a standard size hard drive?
Thanks.
Does the X220 have a standard size hard drive?

Re: Does the X220 have a standard size hard drive?
The X220 uses 7mm drives which is thinner than the much more widely used 9.5mm drives.
Some SSD's can have a spacer removed that would then make them 7mm.
