Bluetooth Thinkpad Mouse Issues

#1 Post by winlit » Wed Apr 11, 2012 7:21 pm

I just purchased a W520 Thinkpad as well as the mouse. The mouse will not scroll or zoom in ACAD!! :( The techs at Lenovo said because it scroll in Word or on the web that its an issue of/with the program. When I plug in a usb mouse I have no problems. Is it the bluetooth? Any thoughts on this will be appreciated.

I have similar issues - the bluetooth mouse won't scroll in Photoshop or Lightroom, and quite often not in IE. I'm about done with it. My USB wireless mouse is flawless no matter the application. Seems I wasted my $ on the bluetooth and while maybe it could be fixed, I don't have the time to devote to that.

I've got same problem with TP Bluetooth mouse. The issue is with driver that comes with mouse, try to uninstall it and clean up. Then just plug the mouse and let windows install by himself. I've been using this mouse for a while all i can say don't buy it. It's buggy, it disconnects all the time (power off in device settings is disabled) and it gives slight freezes while moving. I returned to my previous Logitech laser wireless mouse.

follow my post (indonesian version) : http://thinkpadder-id.com/smf/index.php ... 40#msg1340

I try to explain in english :

1. Open Lenovo Mouse Suite, at Mouse Properties dialog box choose Lenovo Tab, than click Advanced Properties
2. At Advanced Properties dialog box, click Wheel Tab, choose "Enable Universal Scrolling", than click "Exceptions".
3. At Exceptions dialog box, click Add, at Add Exception Application dialog box type Application Name you will enable (this example "acad"), than browse acad file location when your installed. than click OK, OK and OK.

do it for another software were you want to enable wheel scrolling function
