FRU # or Part # for LG WUXGA Screen for W500

Hi Guys,

I have done some research (read the W500 ad that just sold) and found out that a Samsung WUXGA panel is less desirable to the LG WUXGA panel.

I am looking for the FRU or the part number for the LG Panel. I did use the search on "lg panel" and found the part number/FRU for the Samsung panel but no luck with the LG panel.

I'm very fond of the DPI on my present WSXGA+ T61p, so chances are I might get another WSXGA+ panel from TuuS and will be selling that WUXGA panel... will have to wait until it arrives to see if I can bond with it.

If you're still interested, the FRU appears to be 42T0361. I have a LG WUXGA panel in a T61p, with a model LP154WU1-TLB1. Lenovo's site is having some issues otherwise I'd look it up on there.

Thanks for the FRU number! Ebay is selling the panel "brand new" for $197 which is a lot. When I get the w500, in about a week or so, I will take a look at the panel and go from there.
